About the Photographer
I am a self taught photographer and I
take photographs of the things I like such
as music, nature and travel.
My earliest interests in photography
correspond with my love of music. As a
teenager I attended hundreds of concerts
and I documented these events.
I had my first photographs published in
several entertainment papers. Concert
Scene, Spotlight and St. Louis Music
News. I photographed the heavy metal
group Grim Reaper at Mississippi Nights
and these photographs can be seen on
the back album cover “See You In Hell”.
I also have an interest in nature and
animals and spend much of my time out
of doors. My photographs of nature
reflect my vision of nature as art. The
Lone Elk Park collection covers eight
months shooting the wildlife. Some of
these photographs can be seen in a
permanent display at the park’s Visitors
Center and on their web-page is an 80
image slide show.
I love to travel and explore new places
and my photographs chronicle my
adventures in urban environments and
international sites. My first trip to India
was in 2004 where I shot street scenes. I
returned to India in 2007 and
concentrated on portraits.
